At the behest of a friend of mine in Second Life, I was urged to check out a *free* new prim skirt maker and gave me the landmark to their location in Mindulle by Vint Falken and Dalien Talbot.
As a curious content creator and prim agitator, I purchased one of the prim skirt builders and proceeded to give it a whirl, hoping for the best and expecting the worst. Several months ago I purchased a prim skirt making for several thousand linden dollars and was never able to figure it out and promptly gave up trying.
It took me about 15 minutes to figure out this prim skirt builder from top to bottom. If I can use it – anyone can. Despite having been in Second Life for 3 and 1/2 years, I have never been all that great at primming.
In order to see how easy it is to make a prim skirt using this device. Please see the images below.
This tool gets two thumbs up from yours truly. I have a deep appreciation for anything that makes processes simplier and more efficient. There are other steps and directions depending on your use of the tool for deleting the current anchor prim and adding new ones so that it shows your avatar name as the creator. I scooped up several Prim Skirt Builders so that I can make templates for each skirt type. Enjoy!
PS. Be sure to tip the creator after all this is a free GNU item.

This looks amazing! I’ll give it a try, for sure. Thank you, great find.
Great find!
this is amaaaazing. i am a total newbie and numbskull and i just made a skirt. woohoo
A pity it is no longer a freebie and not updated eventhough you can still find a free copy somwhere. I like how simple it is without using those commands. I tried using some other skirt maker as I thought this one was limited but somehow I just can’t understand the commands. This one is great also because you can see as you create. Fantastic stuff and I hope the owner would consider updating it.
Do you know how to change the creator name? I looked through all the instructions and I don’t know if I missed it or what but I can’t figure it out for the life of me!
I was wondering the same thing, Phoebe!
Aside from this, i think the maker is fab
