This afternoon Feliciaa lost her battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family. There are no words to adequately express the great sadness we feel by this loss.
Rest in peace Fel.
Many of us had the pleasure of meeting Feliciaa in person last year at the SLCC. For those that didn’t know, Fel took a two-day train ride from her home to San Francisco to meet her friends from Second Life. Here are a few pictures of mine from the event last year.

In rememberance of Feliciaa’s life, we will be auctioning off Philip’s Avatar outfit from the SLCC 2005 to raise money for Relay for Life – a cause which Feliciaa was extremely involved with in SL. We are also planning some sort of memorial service for Feliciaa at this years conference. Details will be forthcoming.
Regards,
Jennyfur

Every time I walk past a Relay for Life kiosk, I donate as much as I can to it. This brings the importance of it close to home. Condolences on the loss of a friend.
Though I didn´t know Feliciaa I feel sad with those who did. A good SL-friend of mine fell ill with cancer, too, and is now doing her last fight against it. We all have to be strong for those, who need us.
